Kareem Writes for ESPN??

I know that Kareem Abdul-Jabbar is one of the best players in the history of the NBA. He played 20 seasons in the league and, as a result, scored the most points in NBA history. The man, the myth, the legend that is Kareem.

That beautiful sky hook , sailing over the defenders outreached arms into the hoop. With such grace and finesse did Abdul-Jabbar use that move to score his outrageous amount of points.

What I didn’t know about Kareem before today was that he writes for ESPN. Today, he published a column about the UCLA Bruins and how they need to get back to the glory days of Wooden/Abdul-Jabbar.

  1. That’s funny. I think former stars writing about the sports they played lends insightful truths about the sport.

  2. He was awesome when he was Lew Alcindor and played for Milwaukee…just an amazing athlete who should never have gone into movies (Airplane). lol
